The Inscrutable Americans....What to say
I just finished reading the Inscrutable Americans and I have a certain mixed feeling. Firstly, It was refreshingly original...yes i gues that is the word that best describes the book. Not to mention the great honesty about the book. It was witty, fun and dragging at times. Well....I don't know what else to say but i just wish people could induce a story into the whole thing...it could have been so much more than just a journal of a small town boy out to get some sex...i mean education....
Well I would rate it 3.5 out of 10.

dat is some high rating by my standards....i wish i cud it cud hold my attention for a little while longer so dat i cud finish it....
3.5 out of 10 is high!!!! it is not. You are almost through the book....a book worse than that...you would not have gone through with it....
Oh come on, the book is not that bad. It makes fun of everyone and does not preach. I liked it.
I never said it is bad....and i did say it is witty and fun. I guess when i gave it 3.5 i was rating the way the whole thing seemed to stretch into infinity. Was like reading and reading without ever reaching anywhere. It's just the writer showed great skills and insight...he could have done so much better....you know...the book left you feeling a tad disappointed. And anyways...your opinions are your own. Which all books do you like???
